Hi annonymous! Thank you for your review!We regret that you found your bed "uncomfortable". Comfort is very subjective, of course, and we have many guests who rave at their great sleep! In fact, our beds were installed last year, and they are custom-crafted by a top-quality, Amish bedding company, right here in Ohio. Not knowing what time you came to breakfast (7:30-10 a.m.), we keep our breakfast counter constantly stocked. If something was "out", a gentle request will remedy that! It is certainly possible that there was a "rush" on something that got "wiped-out" quickly! More of anything is just a request away!Please contact us for any details about your bed so that we may address any issues with our housekeeping staff!Thanks again!

We are just catching up from a busy summer.We are sorry that you were disappointed in our breakfast offerings, although they are presented at our official site, not on this travel agency site.Our breakfast includes eggs (hard boiled), bacon/egg/cheese croissants(heat and eat), Sausage/Egg biscuits (heat and eat), and breakfast bacon/egg/cheeses burritos. Sorry you missed seeing these! We do not do waffles or pancakes. Fresh fruit salad, muffins, bagels, cereals, juices, cinnamon rolls, custom-blended and locally roasted coffee also.In fact, unlike "franchise brands", our guests can request even an "Express Breakfast" if they are very early risers. You can have breakfast at 4 a.m. if you need, as your food selections will be waiting for you!We wish you safe travels and do hope that you will return this way again!

Of course, it MIGHT be related to a particular time this summer when we all experienced a LONG string of 85-95% humidity days. The room A/C unit SHOULD have managed this, but we still would like to investigate this. Guest comfort is our #1 priority. Our coffee is locally-roasted and custom-blended just for us, so we are delighted that you enjoyed it!Thanks again!

Our proximity to the local Cedarville University (90-seconds by car) is definitely a "plus" for college touring!We regret that our mattresses did not meet your comfort expectation, but we do appreciate sharing this information! Our bedding is, in fact brand-new, installed in 2022, and is all custom-hand-crafted by a high-end Amish bedding manufacturer here in Ohio. Occasionally, a guest may find a mattress too "soft" or too "firm". This is, of course, unavoidable, being a personal preference. We typically get rave reviews about the "amazing sleep" experienced by our guests! Our housekeepers spend 2-3 times more time cleaning rooms than the "national brands", so our guests can be assured of extremely pleasant stay. Our Expanded Continental Breakfast offers quite a few options, so we are unsure what "small" might mean, but we are certainly glad that you enjoyed your stay! Hi Larry,I am so sorry to hear that you did not receive extra linens when you asked. We do try very hard to make sure all guests have exactly what they need and extra towels are never a problem. You might be surprised to know that all our bedding is all custom-crafted, Amish built, right here in Ohio. All mattresses are brand new, having been installed during the last year. Mattress comfort is very much an individual thing, and some guests have even inquired where to buy these because they slept so well! We wish you safe travels!
