Plants abound on its Lookout Trail and Ethnobotanical Trail, but as “cloud supreme” (to which ‘Iao’s Hawaiian name translates), do know it’s best to arrive in the morning before the fog arrives. "Everything was great! Check-in was easy and on time. The room was clean and tidy, and it was exactly as expected with a partial ocean view. Expedia gave us a great benefit by offering an add-on that included breakfast and a free show ticket. The only thing that could be improved is reducing the parking fee. Overall, the experience was very good."

"5 star for the location, luau, and staff. We came here for my husband’s birthday. The luau in the hotel was amazing!!! Thank you for singing for my husband’s birthday :) The location is close to the beach, to the mall, and to restuarants. The only thing I didn’t like was the beds. The bed was SO SOFT that we were getting lower back pain in the morning, otherwise I highly recommend this hotel . "
