“We had such a wonderful time at this peaceful little home! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was as clean as I would expect an older home to be. My kids and I absolutely loved the pool and outdoor deck area. We only saw the hosts in passing and felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was quiet and peaceful, with a nice little patio to drink morning coffee on. It was buggy outside but I feel like that is to be expected next to wooded areas. It really felt like home. “The cottage was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake. All of the little touches through out the cottage (throws on the sofa and chair) made us feel welcomed. We only stayed 2 days during our daughter's wedding but definitely plan on another stay when we can enjoy the kayaks and bicycling around the lake.”

“I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet.
