“This place is a gem. The cabin was meticulously appointed. Everything looks as though it’s brand new. I would put this host in the top 1% of those I have encountered. They communicated well and proactively. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Not to mention that they’re just nice people. I even knocked off a bucket list item by catching my first gar here. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Diane is the hostess with the mostest! The cabin had everything you could possibly need and more. We enjoyed fishing and just sitting watching the river. The outside space is comfortable and had just enough lighting. The perfect spot for a relaxing weekend trip. Neighbors were friendly and the whole neighborhood was peaceful. Beds and other furniture were comfortable and the entire cabin was very clean. ”

“We really enjoyed staying here. We had a family get together at the Ozarks State Park and needed to accommodate a family member with a wheelchair that could not camp. It worked great for him and us! Beautiful secluded location in the woods. If you’re lucky the neighbors dog (Coco) will come by and say hi. She is so sweet! Lots of critters out at night by the lake. It was a lot of fun lotto the frogs. We saw a snapping turtle during our stay too!”

“The property managers were so friendly and helpful. It was nicely situated from UCM but it felt like I was camping :). I enjoyed my short stay.”

“We enjoyed the cabin very much. The one exception was the road in and out of the property. I reported it to the call center as impassable. I incurred damage to my vehicle due to the poor condition of the road. This while crawling up the road no more than a few miles per hour. Totally unacceptable. The call center was rude and at times not understandable due to very heavy foreign accents. I was wondering who owns the road? Is it private? County owned? All questions asked the call center who……

“This is a great place to stay, staff was great. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but the pool was great and the area of the lake was pretty quiet. The cabin was nice, we will be back.”

“We booked a last minute stay here and it turned out to be a really cool addition to our road trip. It is even more secluded than we had imagined. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. I would stay here again if I end up crossing through this part of MO on a future trip”
