"When the hotel says check in at 4pm only they mean it. As it was Sunday the little shops around did not open until 11am. Ocean hotel near buy opened at 11 am for breakfast, brunch, so we could at least eat something as our hotel has nothing.
When we finally got into our room at 4:05pm it was okay. The standard amenities. Beds were okay. They only had 1 thin blanket on them. We had to be up at 4 am. For our flight home.. so you can imagine when there power plant came on at 2am it was so noisy you couldn’t sleep anymore.
Personal would not recommended staying there.

"My room was clean and had a balcony overlooking the street and then across from the beach. The pool area was nice but in the shade from about 1 PM on. There were supposed to be restaurants and bars at the hotel, which they advertise, but were not open. "
"We arrived at 430pm and was told our room should be ready in an hour. Went to grab some food came back at 830pm and room still was not ready. After another 1/2 hour they gave me a room with 2 beds looking at a building when I had booked a deluxe King Bayview. I was paying $500 per night for this room. They finally gave me a $50 per night discount which was ridiculous. Get to room had not been properly cleaned. When asked for bar of soap at first told they were out, but finally found me one. We had stayed at your property in September and it was a totally different experience with staff, room and every aspect, so I recommended this hotel to the couple traveling with us and then we had this terrible experience. I am also Vice President for National Travel and have recommended your porperty to many clients which I no longer will be doing. I was told you had a change of management recently which I am assuming is responsible for the decline. "
"Ive stayed here numerous times in the past with no issues however this time i have to say i was disappointed. Check in was no problem, Frank was friendly and polite. Next day before heading out i told Andrea at front desk to please have housekeeping to set up the sofa bed, replace towels and empty the humidifier. 30 min later she called me to state i had a do not disturb tag on the door and couldn't get the service. I told her to check again because i had indeed removed it, she insisted it was there. I told her well im verbally telling her for the 2nd time to do the service. She said per policy she could not, that i needed to return & remove it myself. I was in disbelief over something so simple. I did return later that day only to find out my room was done and i had removed the tag after all. Joel the housekeeping inspector was in my room when i returned, very nice person. I could of continued with my day instead of wasting my time. Also my gate key didn't work to leave property and had to go reverse back to frontdesk instead of the security letting me go , as i had just came in. The whole miscommunication was a inconvenience. The staff needs to do better. "
