“I think housekeeping did there job very well as far as cleaning the rooms, but considering the condition of the room/property it still gave you a unclean feeling. The property was not what I expected at all do not go by the picture on the website those are from opening day. So if what you need to do is close to there you will be ok. “Pretty out-of-date hotel. It’s totally a “me” thing but I forgot a square to plug into the wall for my phone cord. Most hotels have USB ports available for charging. This one didn’t. The room was small and very basic. There was a purple stain on the bedding and there was a contact case under the stool in front of the TV. Just small things that could have made it better. “The Inn on Ferry is a quaint place located midtown Detroit. Excellent welcoming and service while we stayed. The building we stayed in (grey stone) is beginning to show some wear on the inside. Carpets would be a good thing to replace and fixtures (e.g reading light shades) need a little more modernizing. We would stay again without hesitation as it was quiet and still very clean.”

“I was at this hotel for maybe an hour, just long enough to find and book another hotel. The room was absolutely disgusting. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with an overwhelming smell of Febreze. The bedding and pillows were damp from how much had been sprayed, it was obvious the excessive Febreze was being used to mask a strong odor. My daughter and her friend both started getting headaches from the overpowering fragrance. The air conditioner was caked with dust, and there was dust built up……
