- Alexandra's relaxing suite is a nice-decorated,fully equipped and air-conditioned apartment in the beautiful and famous area of Kalamaki near by the sea.Placed in the ground floor of a residence's complex Alexandra's relaxing suite is the perfect destination for everyone who seeks a comfortable staying in a beautiful place by relaxing and reading a book at cozy sofas or enjoying a drink at swimming pool.The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of super markets and restaurants around,but also in the middle of all interesting destinations of Chania.Only 150m from the nearest sandy beach,500m from the popular sandy beach of Agious Apostolous,1.5km from cosmopolitan day and night clubs and beach bars of Agia Marina and Platanias,5 km from the town of Chania with the old Venetian harbor,the picturesque alleys,the Old municipal market,Firka fortress,Archaeological,Byzantine,Nautical museums and many more and 25km from Daskalogiannis airport of Souda.Ideal for couples and just-married! On arrival my husband badly gashed his leg in the bedroom on a very sharp metal bed edge. This meant he had to have it dressed daily and was unable to get in the sea for the whole week.We didn’t like the fact that there was no AC in the bedroom and as they were very small sleeping was not comfortable- when we pointed this out we were told that we could leave the AC on in the sitting room and leave the doors to the bedrooms open - this was not an option as we were a couple in one room and our friend in another bedroom (in a very small room with no storage space ).When booking there was no indication that the apartment was at the top of a steep incline.Anyone with even minor mobility issues would have struggled with the hill.Overall not a pleasant experience.
