A fabulous home! Great host! Well stocked kitchen
I truly lucked out with this home. We had a family wedding in Columbia and I needed a home that could sleep all of us. This was the place. The view from the back deck to the lake was spectacular. The house was clean....kitchen well stocked with anything you could think of. The host was easily reached by phone to answer any questions. My kids are trying to find another date when we can meet up there again. I would give this home the highest recommendation. You won't be disappointed!

Lake Murray couples trip
The house was ideal for our group of 6. The location on the lake is perfect and we were able to jet ski to the restaurants, state park and several little islands! The house could use a little TLC and updating but that didn’t hinder our enjoyment. Each night we relaxed by the fire pit or played games at the large dining room table. DSJ

This was one of the best friendcations you could have the view was beautiful from the screened porch! There was plenty of space for guests and the kitchen was fully stocked!

Groomsmen weekend
My son is getting married and wanted to have a weekend together with his groomsmen. We rented this house, and it could not have been more perfect for us. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen and living area was large and open, and Drew was a fantastic host. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Lake Murray Get A Way
Drew‘s home was the perfect place to host our family get together. The lake view is absolutely stunning. His home is extremely spacious and cozy at the same time. Excellent kitchen which had everything we needed and then some, each bedroom was comfortable and clean and the back porch offered amazing sunrise and sunset views. Drew was an excellent host and we will definitely be returning again!

Old friends reunion
The area is very pretty! The views of the lake were so relaxing …our manager Drew was very accomodating! He wanted us to have a wonderful experience, which we did ! One suggestion: bedrooms should be described better …. There were seven of us friends who were age 65- 76..a few knee replacements, etc…. The two converted rooms were a little inconvenient and difficult.. thank you, Drew , for all of your help and for all the open communication! We appreciated it!

Great spot for a large family

Perfect place for a girls trip
We loved our stay. Communication with Drew was awesome. Reached out to him twice during our stay and he responded immediately. The spacious kitchen/living room/dining room was so open and inviting. The views were amazing! Was certainly a perfect place to spend time with friends making new memories!

Absolutely beautiful!!
We went for my bachelorette and it was perfect!! The view was amazing!! We loved sitting on the patio with the lights at night. Also the fire pit was great with the view of the lake. We rented the pontoon and that was wonderful as well!! Went kayaking and just lounged around and enjoyed the beautiful house!! The mattresses were incredible in every room and the views were breathtaking!! We decided we want to make this a yearly thing and will definitely be contacting this location again!!

The house was lovely. Lots of communication from the owner. The neighbors are a little strict about the parking. It was a wonderful stay, lots of room, especially for the price.

Labor Day weekend
The house is amazing! Very well equipped, well maintained, everything you need is provided, wonderful location, and all the space you need. Nearby boat launch was also convenient. Drew was an EXCELLENT host. He was super responsive, very accommodating, and great to deal with. We WILL be repeat renters.

Beautiful Lake Murray!!
We had the best time at this beautiful Lake House! We had 12 people in our group and we had plenty of room with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 4 bedrooms upstairs! Drew the host was very accommodating in helping us rent the pontoon for a day. Also the 4 kayaks that come with the house got plenty of use/ also a great way to get out on the water. We cooked a shrimp boil out on the deck one night. That was fantastic! Plenty of dining seating indoors OR out! Nice back deck that is partly screened in, and an open deck with a gas grill. We want to come back in the Fall to give the fire pit by the lake a try..8 nice Adirondack chairs to sit in! We’ll definitely be back!

We rented this house for my husband’s birthday. We had 9 adults and 5 children all stay together. It was perfect!! The house is beautiful. It has an open layout with a lot of bedrooms which was ideal. The property is gorgeous with amazing views. Drew was a fantastic host! I highly recommend this home and look forward to returning!

Beautiful Lakefront home for family getaway
We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home. Great location on the lake. House has everything you need. Owner was incredibly helpful. Beds wer comfortable and rooms were spacious. We want to come back to stay here again. Kayaks were a great touch and so was the fire pit. Everything about it was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit.

Celebrating a USC graduation!
Myself and family booked this house to celebrate my son’s graduation from USC and the house and stay was fantastic! The house was extremely spacious to accommodate my family of 9. Kitchen was well accommodated too! Homeowner was extremely accommodating as well as quick to respond to any questions asked. If I ever return to Chapin/Lake Murray I will definitely book here again!

This house is absolutely amazing! The pictures are exactly what you will experience in-person. My sisters and cousins (12 females total) stayed here last weekend, and the house did not disappoint. There were enough beds and overall space for us to be together, yet have individual time. It was the level of relaxation we needed to bond and relax! My feedback has already been shared with the responsive home-owner but here are some things that you should keep in mind when booking. We were only able to fit a sedan and 3 small SUVs in the driveway. The road in/out is fairly narrow, so there isn’t any place for street parking. We came from FL, GA, SC, NC, and VA, so we were limited to sharing a ride. Luckily, my sister-in-law’s mother lives about 15 mins away, and allowed us to park 4 cars in her yard. You will need to limit or stagger showering time as water went cold fairly quickly…but again, there were 12 of us getting ready around the same time. Not an issue for us, but if your stay requires some privacy when getting dressed or “intimate activities”, the walkout door in the downstairs master does not have a curtain or blinds. The light must’ve blown out at the front door because it was extremely dark after sunset. We used the flashlights on our cells, so it worked out just fine. Even with these findings, I would book again with Drew, the homeowner. Repeating again, this house is absolutely amazing! The pictures are exactly what you will experience in-person.

Excellent Choice
We stayed at this location with some of my daughters track club members for a track meet at The University of South Carolina. House was immaculate!!! Owner very responsive and responds back almost immediately no matter when you reach out. He is very helpful going beyond suppling us with nearby restaurants, things to do, etc. This house is just at the photos and description shows. It honestly looks BETTER in person. And not to mention the gorgeous view of the lake! You would not be disappointment with your stay at this location. We will definitely book again for our next meet in Columbia!! A must see property!!

Outstanding property
We rented this property for a 3 generation Christmas gathering. The house was spacious and allowed everyone to have space. Especially loved the kitchen and breakfast space. Due to extreme low temperatures, we were not able to enjoy the outstanding outdoor spaces. Looking forward to renting again this summer so we can take full advantage of these spaces. Love that the little town of Chapin was not very far away for grocery stores and restaurants.

Beautiful Lakefront Property!
Drew’s lakefront home the perfect vacation getaway for our extended family. The house is beautiful and right on the water with magnificent views. There is tons of interior space, the kitchen is very well-stocked, and the house has luxurious modern decor. The beds were super comfy, and we all rested well after a long day at the USC football game. Drew was also very kind and accommodating and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. When we pulled into the drive, we had no idea what view would greet us as we entered into the front door. Wow! What an awesome view of Lake Murray and wait until sunset occurs. It was beyond words. The home was beautiful. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable - even the pillows! The screened in back porch was our devotion time location and the covered area with comfortable outdoor furniture was perfect for enjoying God's beauty. The kitchen had all we needed. This is a home we would choose to stay again!

Precious Family Time
I searched for a lake house that would be comfortable for our three adult couples and 5 grandchildren. Drew was very helpful and readily available should we have had any issues. We were able to put our boat in at a nearby ramp and tie to the dock during our stay. Very nice home. We would like to have a getaway there again!

Beautiful accommodation with a amazing view.
This property is really nice and has everything you need to have comfortable stay. My line sisters and I enjoyed the lake view and the calm peaceful scene. The only issue we encountered was the water turned cold after a few showers. Overall this house is the right location for a nice getaway for all!

Breathtaking views in a comfy home
This was one of the best properties I’ve stayed in! It had everything my family & I needed to enjoy our short stay. It was big enough to hold my family of 12 comfortably. The lake views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise/sunset. Our favorite part of the house was the kitchen & backyard area. We’ll definitely stay here again, hopefully for a summer vacation. Book this place, you won’t regret it!
