Chaqiyu Hotel with Pool

"This hotel is a beautiful old building with spacious peaceful courtyards. The location is great. However, it is very rundown - I'm not talking about faded elegance - I'm talking about neglect and poor management. I have the impression that the owners are running this place into the ground with a view to demolition in the near future, so that it can be replaced with one of the ugly, but doubtless more profitable, glass and concrete boxes that already surround it. "Overall a very good place to stay. Very close to the National Forest attractions. Staff will need translator to communicate. They can’t understand English but they are very helpful and friendly. Special mention to the waitress Li Ping on our floor. She was very helpful and took care of use very well. "

"This small Bed & Breakfast is a bit far from Zhangjiajie proper but the location in the National Park definitely makes up for the that. The Staff are very helpful and they are willing to bring your luggage to your room. The breakfast is good Asian fare. The pool was nice on the humid August days after touring around at the local sites. "
