“This was such a nice property! It is located in a quiet area of town and was just so peaceful to be able to walk across the road to the water or sit in any of the provided chairs at the front of the property to enjoy the sights and sounds of the water. The staff were super friendly and helpful to give recommendations for food and activities.”

“The properly is close to many restaurants and shops. Location wise the property is great. We stayed for two nights our room wasn’t very clean. The toilet seat was dirty when we checked in as well as the couch in the living area. There was also a weird smell in our room which wasn’t good. We would most likely not return after our non so great experience at this property.”

“The experience is good. The location is very good, shopping and dining are convenient, the front desk is fast, the room has no odor, the location is easy to find, and there is free wireless internet. I chose a family room, that can accommodate 5 people. The price is very cost-effective and the stay experience is good! It is worth recommending this hotel.”

“We enjoyed our one night stay. We needed an escape from our city life and took advantage of the screened in porch and riverside setting. We had a take out dinner on the picnic table by the river and the kind owner helped us light the firepit. We did have to clean off the table and chairs but understand it’s hard to maintain with all the trees and pollen. The room was immaculate and modern but retained some cool old school touches. “Room had to be changed due to air conditioning broke. Second room air conditioner was not cool enough. Stuffy. Rooms small. Vanity counter small.”

“The room was clean but a little dated. The floors could use some updating. Also, the air conditioner went off during the night unexpectedly. The ice machine was not working even though the office staff said it had been fixed.”

“We checked in late at night and found that both windows were open. All rooms are on the first floor. We tried closing and locking the windows but were unable to. I called the front desk and informed them that windows were open and don’t lock. The response was that the windows were open to “air out” the room, that nothing could be down about the windows at that time and that we were in a very safe area. We slept with chairs and a table propped up against the windows to alert us if someone tried……

“Our room, though very compact, was clean and the bed comfortable. No mirror in the bedroom area; only in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and sufficient but very thin towels and the toilet seat was cracked/peeling. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Offerings were minimal and some was inedible fruit and with an hour to go in the breakfast timing there was very little left. When told about the empty servers and cold case, staff just shrugged and nothing was refilled. Very paltry and……

“Amber was amazing. We came in after hours and she had our room opened for us. She is super friendly and communicated with us throughout our travels making sure we were ok and understanding the check in process. The room was super clean, beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spotless. We will be returning”

“A charming old inn at the top of Kennebunk. Great location with a breakfast spot just behind them, which is a favorite to the locals. Also fun to stop and watch pickle ball next door!”
