Great location!

Hard to beat the location for access to the Folly Beach shops and restaurants. Well kept property, with a very nice courtyard. Easy check-in and out process.

Excellent location that's extremely comfortable!

Soft comfortable beds with all the ammenities you could need for a great stay in Folly Beach. Comes with a dedicated parking space that was very key on the long weekend. We are looking forward to a return trip!

Folly Beach, SC

The property was in a fantastic location just a couple blocks from the beach and right across the street from multiple restaurants, bars, and shops. The house itself was nice and fit the 3 of us well. There is only one mirror which is in the bathroom so if you know you will have multiple people getting ready to go out at once, come prepared! Overall the trip and property were fantastic.

Good location convenient to everything you’d want in Folly. Sunny Side Down is nothing fancy but good enough for a place to sleep and make your home base for a few days.

Great location and home!

We had a great time staying here with our two small boys for the 4th of July weekend. Everything was so easily accessible that we walked everywhere. Home is adorable inside, very clean and spacious for our family of 4. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Folly beach!

Perfect weekend

Sunny Side Down checks all the boxes! An extremely clean and comfortable stay in the perfect location. Once in the gate it’s so private and the wall hanging baskets and lighting add such a special touch. It’s a true hidden gem! We plan to stay again, and again!

Great beach getaway

Great location, dog friendly, recently renovated. I stayed with my girlfriend and a dog. The fenced in yard was perfect the for the dog and the accommodations are as-advertised. The only downside was that you could hear the people in the upstairs condo walking around.

The house was almost perfect!!! We were able to check in early. It was very clean and it was a short walk to the beach. The only issue was we were in the down stairs unit and the renters in the upstairs unit had teenagers and the made a lot of noise until about 1am every day!

Great place

The place is small but perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 pups. It was very clean. The best part is it is right in the middle of town. We walked everywhere and didn't get in our car until we left for home. Very enjoyable!

Fantastic location!

Loved Sunny side down! Fantastic location to EVERYTHING. Apartment was really nice, deck/patio area was wonderful. Quiet inside, even with upstairs guests. Only suggestion would have would be to add ceiling fans in bedrooms for better air circulation when sleeping with doors closed. Otherwise, we loved it!

Nice base from which to enjoy Folly Beach

We didn't know quite what to expect given the property's location behind a store, but it was surprisingly quiet (the noise ordinance works!) and super-convenient to walk to the pier/beach, dining, etc., and close to the county park. We needed a couple of missing kitchen items and the property managers dropped them off that same morning. We also chose it for dog-friendliness and ours got comfortable pretty quickly, even though the upstairs tenants also had a dog, which might have excited ours.

Great little place, very convenient to everything. needs a new coffee maker, as that one did not work correctly. Also encourage the owner to clean out around the backside of the house, old AC unit sitting in the corner, as most guests bring their dogs, and they harbor pests. Also might want to consider some traps for rodents scurrying about. Everything else was great and my family really enjoyed their stay.

Nice Location but Needs some Work

The location was very good in the middle of Folly Beach. Easy to walk to the beach or to local restaurants and stores. Parking was across the street which was OK. The suite was clean but two of the mattresses were very uncomfortable, and really needed to be replaced. That makes staying there for several days difficult. Also some small things could stand some attention like fixtures in the bathroom and outdoor seating which were very rickety and seem like they were about to fall apart. For the cost and location of the property he should not be an issue to be updated immediately.

Great Location!

The location is amazing, we never drove our car, totally walkable. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay was stocked. Could use more forks, only 2 available. A few negative issues, the toilet screams like a dying seal every time you flush. Could hear the upstairs guests every step and very bright lights shine into the bedrooms at night even when using the shades. But the worst issue is the outdoor area could use a serious pressure washing ( moldy) and freshen up. Twice our granddaughter slipped and fell on the deck when it was dampened by the rain. Thank goodness it wasn't my 82 year old Mother. We walked very carefully.

Clean but expensive. Pictures are deceiving . The location is okay, but not great

Clean unit and convenient to stores. The assigned parking spot is NOT next to the unit, making it very difficult to load/unload items. Very hard to find b/c the unit is behind street stores. All Furniture is in pretty bad condition but clean. The outside patio is useless bc is not clean (lots of mold). Sitting is falling apart and dirty. Kitchen is Poorly equipped (1 small cheap frying pan & one small pot). No dishwasher, so plates are greasy! Beds are okay. Sad to see a good place with lack of maintenance. The price does NOT match the condition of the appt. You could get a better place for less nearby. Only positive reviews are posted. Will be surprised if they post this one. We really tried to make the best out of this one ! Lights flickering made it hard at night. Too many fees doesn’t justify the place.
