A quiet, spacious location and friendly hosts
The house is situated on the edge of Chateaurenard. Nonetheless, it is only a few minutes drive to the bakery and the supermarket. A very good base for exploring Provence - Avignon is only a few kilometres, and many of the highlights are only a short drive away.
It is quiet, clean and well-equipped, with the nice-to-haves of a holiday home: dishwasher, washing machine and wifi. There is a table and chairs to sit outside, and parking space in front of the house. A small pool is available during the season.
The Bouchet family and Titou gave us a warm and friendly welcome, and provided lots of information for visiting, shopping, eating out – although the market in St. Rémy was very full.
All-in-all, we enjoyed 2 weeks in Chateaurenard (either re-visiting known places or discovering new things), and can highly recommend this holiday home for people who wish to have a quiet location in close proximity to the sights of Provence.
