“We stayed for 3 nights and had a relaxing break in this lovely seaside resport. The hotel is about a 4 minute walk from the seafront. It's opposite the railway station making it easy to get into La Rochelle (20 mins away) or a trip to Bordeaux for the day in the other direction. The trains are not noisy and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet breakfast around 15 Euros and it is superior to the breakfasts available at the seafront cafes. It's very good. The young guy on……

“I was at first disappointed, because I reserved a harbor-front view room, but when I checked in, it was not available. However, the thoroughly apologetic desk staff provided a consolation room, which had a good view of a jumbled terrain of ancient, brick-tile roofs with a church steeple behind. It also had a private balcony which was large enough to accommodate a small table and 2 chairs. We also were complemented their breakfast, which was huge in its variety of breads, rolls, salads, cheeses,……

“We stayed for 5 nights in a 2 room suite which provided a seperate bedroom and a sitting room with 2 single beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was quite modern. The hotel lobby is great. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, there's a large central bar, and because of the chilly weather in mid October there was a wonderful wood fire buring most of the time. The hotel has a small heated pool which got lots of use from several families, and a sauna and spa. We……

“We have bern coming to this hotel every year for the last 5 years. 1 or 2 nights . It is a stopover for us and a nice end to out holidays. The hotel location is great. I love the rooms decor and the peaceful courtyard.”

“Stunning property with a beautiful pool and the most stunning family room with connecting bathroom so we could stay close to our teens :) We only stayed one night, the four poster bed was so comfortable, the linnen sheets helped me sleep like a baby! There was a lovely room to watch tv or play games and the breakfast was lovely, wish we had stayed longer! Merci Valerie ❤️”
