“We had gone to the meadowlands for a concert and needed a place to stay the night. Apt was clean and beds were comfortable. The check in process got mixed up and I was given the wrong apt number. It was very late when we arrived, 12:30 am, but the property manager answered my messages and even called us to help us get into the apt and apologized for the mix up. The reason I didn’t rate this higher is you can’t control the thermostat. It does say it in the reviews but it had been a very hot day……

“The setup was great. As I’m familiar with the area, it was a good value in comparison to hotels/motels in the area. The community is quiet. The unit is to the back of the house, with cameras for security. It’s not a 5 star hotel. But, it definitely served it’s purpose. The property is approximately 4 minutes to NJ Turnpike/Goethall’s Bridge. While the owner has a sense of humor with the posting, there are no amenities. It’s not waterfront, or beach accessible. The only complaint is that there……

“Stayed for two nights place was accurately described as per photos, could have been a little cleaner and we hit a delay getting in because instructions weren’t sent ahead of time. Also one of the phone numbers listed to contact them doesn’t work. Was fine for our short stay…”

“Wonderful spot very close to public transport ( in 20 min in WTC NY city), very nice and clean and spacefull appartment. Full equiped and very nice beds.”

“Lovely place, has everything you need. Kitchen well stocked, big microwave, big fridge. 3 tvs, one in each bedroom. King bed was big, bunk beds were comfy. Shower & bathroom was great. The only note is the location. Commuting to and from city. If you are planning to go into the city everyday, it is a 1.5 hr trip with public transport. Not much cafes or decent places to eat walking distance. We stayed for a week & overall we loved having this home as our base! Thankyou for having us!”

“The place was exactly as described in the listing, if not better. The owners have every necessity accounted for that a family would need, and then some. Speaking of the owners, Elizabeth is A+ when it comes to communication and making your stay as perfect as can be. Renting your home is a business, yes, but Elizabeth and Jose haven't forgot the "customer service" part when running their business - I can't say enough good things about them and our stay. As for the location, it's super……

“A lovely little oasis in Jersey”

“Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage, von welcher man mit dem Bus aus in ca. 15-20 Minuten in Manhattan ist. Der check-in funktioniert easy über eine Schlüsselbox. Das Einzige, was uns gestört ja ist, dass die Betten leider wahnsinnig gequietscht haben, weshalb man kaum durchschlafen konnte - hier müssten einfach einmal neue Betten her und dann ist alles top :-)”
