Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and the glorious golden sandy beach that’s popular with water-sports enthusiasts is around a 15 minute stroll from Spring Tides. Two miles along the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Horse riding, fishing and golf on the links close by are all available in this popular location. There is a good choice of places to eat, shops and pubs within Seahouses too. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picture perfect village of Bamburgh, where Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity in the UK and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach.

Just a short drive inland takes you to the market town of Alnwick with its historic cobbled streets, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens are popular visitor attractions. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
