Perfect Getaway for Us and Our Dogs

This home was perfect for us and our two dogs. The space was beautiful, clean, and just the right size. We especially loved relaxing on the porch with our morning coffee while the dogs played safely in the fenced backyard. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. We’ll definitely stay at The Lookout again next time we're in Chelan

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great! Upstairs had a spacious kitchen, lots of light, awesome outdoor space. The bunkbed room was really cool and the kids loved it. I wish the other bedroom had a larger bed, but it was fine. The yard was perfect with things to do inside the nice fenced yard. Ping pong, hot tub, BBQ, fire pit were all well utilized. The community was perfect. We didn't have to leave the community because there were many outdoor activities to do right there. Stocked courts for play, Beach,pools! The kitchen was disappointing because it packed really basic things like salt, pepper, foil, zip locks, etc. Which i have found stocked in all other VRBOs I have used. That sucked. Other than the supply issue in the kitchen it was wonderful!

The house overall was in very good shape and outside was well kept.Very good customer service when we needed it which wasn't necessary pretty much. The only reason to contact them was to say how cold it was downstairs. Turns out the vents were closed. The vents are high up so a maintenance person came.I would recommend this property to anyone. It worked well for us.

Loved the backyard area...hot tub, ping pong table, fire pit. Perfect location near pool and easy walk to the lake shuttle. Gated yard was extra nice so our dog could be free. Front gate needs repair, nails were protruding and it didn't latch. That would be my only negative. Would recommend to any small family!

We really enjoyed the outdoor space in the back with great seating, ping pong and hot tub. The fenced in property was perfect for our dog to roam and stay with us while we were outside. The location of the property is great and since there is no current building in the area so it was nice and quiet. The property management was responsive when we needed help with the hot tub, and immediately helped us out. We would stay here again!

What an awesome house the weather didn’t quite cooperate but better weather for hiking and wineries. Lots of things to do on the grounds kids loved to pools and hot tubs.

Short and Sweet

Great little house for a couple and two dogs. We enjoyed “the lookout” amenities, nice neighborhood, we were able to rent jet skis down at their waterfront. The pools were nice and cool for temperature in the 90’s.

Beautiful property! Unfortunately, the outside garbage had maggots all over it and the umbrella over the table in the back had a beehive in it. Would go again, but make sure the garbage has been emptied before getting there.... It had been there a while.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a great experience at Northern Lights. The house was clean and accommodated our family nicely. Great location. The house is small as other reviews mention but it's laid out so efficiently we never felt cramped or like it was too small. The fenced yard was also great with the fireplace, hot tub, and ping pong, and great seating available too. We brought our dog and two kids, ages 3 and 4. They were too small to climb up to the top bunk but fit perfectly in the bottom bunk together and slept great (we tucked them in horizontally so they basically had a king bed, width wise). We didn't end up cooking or using the BBQ so I don't have many reviews on the kitchen other than there was no counter spray so I was using soapy water to clean up spills. The seating area was comfortable in the kitchen and it was laid out nicely with space to move around. The only other thing was that we had a hard time figuring out the remote for the lights above the ping pong table and we couldn't find the sticks to do smores because they were not hanging on the fence like it mentioned in the house guide. Both of these things were non issues for us. Kids found sticks and fell asleep just fine with the lights. They had so much fun on this vacation, the house was a perfect home base and we used the hot tub a lot. Highly recommend it if you don’t need a huge place to stay. We absolutely loved our time staying at Northern Lights.

Construction starts at 630 am!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lookout does a fantastic job of making you feel far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Northern lights great location with awesome amenities. However construction at 118 started at 630 am in the morning! On three of the days we stayed there. I messaged the main office several times and never heard back from them. The upper pools hot tub was out of service and there was yellow caution tape around the pool. Northern lights is a great spot but I wouldn’t want to be woken up by construction at 630 am on vacation
