The rooms are all individual and ours was very large with a wonderful view of Cheltenham racecourse. "A lovely two night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had bar food in the lounge one evening. Sadly it was not a good experience. One member of staff having to take drinks orders, prepare the drinks and also take food orders. Poor man was totally overwhelmed by the situation. Long wait for food. "We were upgraded to an open-plan room which was very odd in design. It felt like the walls of the bathroom had not been built. The room was jaded but adequate for a night’s stay. The shower (in the room) was awful and kept cutting out. It ran out of hot water. The staff were very friendly and the public seating / bar areas looked good but we didn’t use them. Overall, perfectly adequate for a night’s stay and very central. A little underwhelming."
