「Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use....

「Forest bathing bliss! Literally! This woodland cabin experience was exactly what I needed as a retreat. There are many thoughtful touches for comfort and luxury in a rustic setting that I delighted in. Tara is a lovely host and added helpful suggestions for my island explorations. 」

「We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough. 」

「Amazing view, quiet location and lovely hosts! Fantastic communication with hosts who want to please! Clean and meticulously maintained home and yard. What more could one ask for?! To sit in the evening and watch the twinkle of the harbour and airplane lights across the strait was priceless, not to mention the amazing sunrise over the ocean. A 10 minute walk to all amenities including shopping and restaurants can’t be beat. A piece of paradise for sure. 」

「Such an incredible little property. The view is incredible and the pictures on the listing don't do it justice, it's definitely a million dollar view. Doug and Jan were great hosts and included so many extra amenities and thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks which was so sweet. Hot tub was fabulous and while it's a drive to town, it's worth it for a one of a kind stay. 」

「Rob and Sandy’s place is absolutely amazing! Rob gave us a tour of the property and made us feel so welcome.The airstream was clean and cozy and the property was ideally located on the river - so tranquil and beautiful. We enjoyed picking apples and plums that they shared with us and cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen. We can’t wait to go again. 」

「Just like it says it's a 100 year old cottage with a games room and plenty of space for my 3 kids. The kids stayed in the upper floor - note there are steeper than normal steps leading upstairs but my boys didn't mind. Plenty of attention to details throughout the house with all of modern comforts of home. Good central location close to Nanaimo for all of your day trips.」
