「I was greeted by two large friendly dogs, much to my delight. The room was pristine, well-equipped, and very private, with my own outdoor entrance. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. 「This was a perfect spot from which to explore more of Vancouver Island than just Victoria. We are glad we found you! We hiked above Maple Bay to great views of the area. We had a beautiful day to walk the wide beach east of Parksville, then the beach walk at Qualicum. The rental was more than adequate for all we needed. The waterfront was calm and very pleasant. We watched animals, birds, boats, and the occasional sea plane. Thanks for making this spot available!」

「I grew up on Saltspring. My best friend, who had recently been widowed, expressed an interest in seeing the island so I arranged a visit.
