The hotel is getting old and parts amid it are not fixed

The carpets are torn and dirty. The breakfast was a joke. But the service and smiles were good.

Unfortunalty this was hotel clsoe to customer and meetings so no choice. Carpets threadbare and stained, corridoor walls filthy. Room also had staiend worn carpets and it generally needed refurb. Sheets whilst laundered showed signs of old stains. Room door on first room woudl not work at all after multile attempts so moved to new room. Staff nice and helpful, food OK and bar OK but nothing to set world on fire. Was told by management that they have started refurb on 4th floor so perhaps it will be better in future.
