Would think twice, not ideal or tourists
Very nice staff members, great food in restaurants, comfortable bet, quiet location. The hotel fails in the following: -concierge services : no excursion activity offered , no Options what to do in the area. Only way to do something is through hotel cabs, min charge around 45€ for that. - lack Of hygiene by waiting stuff. They touch your glasses, Plates , no gloves used. - bathroom full of limescale , doesn’t feel cleaned. I know water is hard here, but still. Stains on most furniture and even on bed linen

If not about the connect to the beach and tons of greenery, its not worth the cost. Food served has to be changed as I was served too salty food, tea kettle was smelling very bad, attention to details in washroom were missing. Again with the amount of fee what is charge, its a disappointment.

Lil slice of paradise
The resort is a large property with beach access and they have a lot of greenery (esp. Frangipani trees) which make it look gorgeous. We got a seaview room with a fantastic view overlooking the pool. It's a great retreat if all u want to do is hangout with family and lounge around the pool or beach. The service was really fantastic! From the restaurants to the front desk to house keeping, to the musician...Akshay, Neeraj, Arif, Kshtij, Maria, Imran, Subash, (I could go on!), made sure we felt very comfortable and that made our stay all there all the more special! Would def recommend and I would go back the next time I'm in India.

There was a big event happening so our cottage was so noisy that we had to switch from our cottage which we paid a fortune to a tiny room. Very dissatisfied. Why do they take reservations when they expect loud music all through the day and night?

Beautiful property!
Excellent location and beautiful grounds! Service at the buffet breakfast was exemplary. Service at the C-Salt restaurant as well as pool bar left something to be desired, especially on the weekend. The manager and staff were open to hearing feedback. The rooms were clean, well furnished and room service was fabulous. I’d definitely stay here again.

- They say they have sauna and steam room - There is no sauna at all - Steam room is available ONLY with a massage appointment. - After complaining loudly they did provide the steam room "complimentary" - I deliberately look for resorts with these as it is one of my main activities every day. - I was totally fooled by this fraudulent behavior. - They gave me a garden room instead of the sea view room I had booked. - They tried to pass it as "an upgrade" - I don't understand how it was an upgrade as I wanted a sea view and there was no sea view - Then once again after complaining they shifted me to a room with a sea view which was mostly obstructed.

Perfect getaway
I had a wonderful stay at this resort. Cleanliness and Covid protocols were in place. All staff were very courteous and service was spot on. Only thing is that I was given a room with a tiny garden which was kind of claustrophobic for me as the whole idea of choosing this hotel was to have an open balcony.

Poor experience with Sheraton
I have called reception for the lost charger and they confirmed they have found with a rider that it cannot be sent to you at Bangalore as per company policy. Strange to know that your hospitality is so poor with guests, where if by mistake you left some important item at your property and it cannot be sent to them as per company policy. One has to travel back to collect from different city... Surprised I have spent Rs 70K at resort and they are asking for Conveyance Fee for the sending it back. Other smaller properties are more courteous than this. This gives very poor experience with Sheraton as a brand. Please do keep this in mind next time choosing this Brand.

If you want to be pampered...choose Sheraton Grand
If you want to be waited hand and foot and feel the need to pampered for few days, just do yourself a favor and book Sheraton Grand, you will not be disappointed. I would have to say that this is arguably the best hotel in Chennai at the moment and if you can spar few extra bucks upgrade to the sea view rooms to indulge in a get away that will leave you with fond memories. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and can't wait to be back. The rooms are well appointed and the level of service is what makes Sheraton stand out compared to other peroperties......
