“A 20 min walk to the Thames street and a 5 min walk to the Cliff walk entrance. The innkeeper was really nice when we arrived and even though it was Winter time it was still a nice stay. Bedroom and bathroom were renovated nicely as well!”

“Stay was wonderful, clean, well decorated and exactly as described. The one comment, it does get loud due to street noise. If there is a way to insulate the outside noise from people walking late at night or the cars going by. I used my sound machine app and was fine”

“Island House Newport was absolutely perfect. It doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, it truly feels like a home. The space, design, and attention to detail made it incredibly comfortable, especially traveling with our 1-year-old. Everything felt calm, private, and thoughtfully set up for a family stay. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place— it was the best part of our trip! Super easy to get into your room, from the nice ambiance in the stairwell to the cleanest room & bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed is really comfortable and there was no noise that was heard from any other rooms.
From the Admiral we walked to Chomp to have dinner one night, which was very good, and in the mornings we walked to the Picnic Cafe for coffee and they have good pastries. And if you can get there……
