The cabin was amazing! Host checked in multiple times and was very available if any issues came up, which we had no issues. The little details matter and this place was very thoughtful when it came to that. We will book this cabin again. And the views, multiple outdoor areas and lake was awesome!

We enjoyed our stay at The Lakeside Escape. The views were wonderful and had plenty of areas to enjoy them. The communication with the owners was top notch and they wanted to make sure that we had the best time. The cabin and property grounds were very clean and well maintained. I would recommend staying and it's in a central location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. 10/10 would stay again.

Cozy, get away cabin

Father and son time to get away and spend couple of days fishing and exploring the area. The cabin is well maintained and super comfortable. We had a great few days being in the forest, enjoying the mountain top view, and local fishing lake.

My wife and I celebrated this years wedding anniversary for the first time in the mountains of Blue Ridge. First, our Host was very accommodating throughout our stay. The cabin was immaculant and as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised to find a extra bedroom uptairs with a gaming table. The mountain view was amazing and we absolutely loved being on both the top and bottom decks everyday. Thank You for such a great environment and experience.We will definitely be back.

An incredible home with amazing views

My family had an absolutely perfect stay when we visited over Spring Break. We spent almost the entire vacation at the house, enjoying the views, the lake, and the hot tub. The large porches on each level were excellent —we cooked meals on the grill, made s’mores on the fire table, and our dogs especially enjoyed being outside on them. Dave and Shannon were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Extremely smooth process booking, paying, checking-in, and staying at the cabin. The owner did a great job with the pre-arrival paperwork, explaining all the details about the cabin in the paperwork, from lighting the grill to operating the TVs! A storm prior to our arrival affected the hot tub, but the owner quickly resolved the issue and we were able to enjoy the hot tub that very evening. The cabin is beautiful with amazing views. Peaceful fall retreat

Really enjoyed the view and having a separate living space from the ground level living space. Warm and inviting on the inside, beautiful on the outside. Spent most of our time enjoyed by the fresh clean air.

Perfect Getaway for New Years !

We loved this cabin. Gorgeous location on the lake. We (the kids, dogs and parents) loved walking down to the lake in the morning and evening. This cabin is very thoughtful, it has everything you need and super clean. It’s also just a short drive to Blue Ridge, hiking and stores. We would love to go back to this cabin

This property was great! Excellent views!!! The drive up and down is a little tricky due to the road not being very wide. They have a great coffee selection and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable as well. Very easy to check in and out. The attention to detail was great with the snore's kit. It was such a nice touch. Hot tub was very clean also. The Escapes by Dave & Shannon

The Hosts were amazing to communicate with at anytime. They provided everything at this beautiful cabin. Only thing a visitor needs is their clothes and groceries if choose to cook. The views were very relaxing, especially sitting in the hot tub. There are two fire pits which are very well placed on the property.The walking trail was well lit and clean and easy to walk. This place is stunning, and my favorite part was the private room downstairs that has a small kitchen and full bathroom. I definitely give this place 10 I will return!!!!Melissa E.

The cabin is gorgeous! The road to the cabin is very narrow and very windy (a little scary). The view is stunning. We had a wedding proposal on the porch overlooking the mountains and water. Wish we could've started longer. Also, host keeps in contact with you to make sure you are well taken care of!
