“They had a nice bed, but otherwise it was not that impressive”

They have a wine tasting area which is well furnished and immaculate as was the front parlor plus there was nice seating areas to relax on the front porch. If we are ever in Dahlonega again, it would definitely be our first choice. The main square with specialty stores and restaurants and a gold museum was all within walking distance.”

“We decided last minute to go to Dahlonega just for one night. We decided on The Smith House because it was in town and we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was a king room in the lodge but did not have a balcony like the ones in front. We had a small window that faced the parking garage. The parking was ok. With all the weddings and parties we were able to get a good spot. The room was very comfortable. The only bad thing was that the shower stopper would not stay up so my……

“My top concern always is cleanliness and this inn was spotless. Staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and responsive. Such a quaint setting and only 15 min drive from downtown Dahlonega. Also super quaint. Close to wineries within 15 to 25 minutes. And lastly a must mention delicious daily breakfast!!!”

“It Smelled as soon as you walked in front doors… It was filthy there’s construction going on and it looks like a construction site stuff all over the floors in the elevator. Inside the room, thank goodness the beds were firm. The shower was not clean properly. There was someone else’s hair all over it. Would definitely not recommend or stay there again”
