「Nice big well stocked home with a beautiful view, lake access and private dock. We spent the weekend fishing and paddling around the lake, catching some afternoon games, bbqing steaks, and telling tall tales on the big deck at the end of the day. Jerry and Connie were great hosts and easy to work with.」

「This is the first home that we have ever come back to for a second trip. The owners are excellent and continue to improve on the property which we thought was already great to begin with. This is most likely the best vacation rental for a smaller group in the peninsula at Lake Almanor.」

「This is a great house for a large family or 3 couples or a group of friends. There is plenty of room for everyone! The house is lovely and was spotless when we got there. Just be aware that on top of the rental price, there's a $150 fee for the Country Club, but staying in the country club is very nice as you have 2 beach areas to choose from and there's lots going on in the summer. Owner was great to work with too. No issues at all.」

「We stayed at this great property in Chester over the July 4th weekend. Dianne manages the property, was proactive in her communication with us and a great host overall. The house itself is conveniently located, was clean and well-appointed. Chester is nestled in the mountains, boasts of the picturesque Almanor lake and is also close to Lassen Volcanic National Park making it an ideal location. People were nice and friendly as well. Overall great experience!」

「This home has everything you would want or need in a home for a vacation rental. The home is in great shape and you can tell the owners take pride in their home from how clean everything is and all the amenities they provide. My husband and I and our 3 grown sons took full advantage of the pool table/ping pong, karaoke, played poker and sat on the deck looking at the gorgeous view and listening to the river. Dianne is the host and is the most kind accommodating person you could hope for. The place has a cabin feel with a living room, 2 bedrooms, a small efficiency kitchen area and a large bath. There are TVs in each bedroom and the living area. the living area has 2 couches and an easy chair. We definitely will stay here again given the opportunity.」
