“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. “My immediate family (me, wife, 4 teenager) as well as some extended family (brother, sister, and her daughter) stayed here for a week. Wow. What a place. We did go do some local sightseeing in Halifax and Lunenburg, but our best times were at the place. It has all you need for a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone, swimming off the dock, an incredible view, and a wonderful, super responsive host. It gets our highest recommendation.”

“We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. ”
