For the price a comfortable yet basic stay. The hotel is in the process of being sold so facilities and amenities were limited and the facade was quite sparse. But otherwise our room was clean and functional and the staff were very friendly. Location is on a major road but was fine for our purposes.

I would say this is a convenient hotel for one night stay, rooms on front noisy even with triple glazing,. Staff pleasant, but breakfast poor quality food had been sitting around and wasn't very appertaining.

Poor hygiene. Kettles has black marks in it. Multiple small black dots. Possibly mould. I had to buy coffees from outside in all the days I stayed. Bed mattress has blood stained dry mucus. The room was noisy. Next to a raging A road with every car passes by sounding like an aeroplane, trying to sleep the whole night- impossible to sleep. room is hot. No air condition. Small fan does not cool the room. (By the way the fan was fixed, not rotating and generate a lot of noise if you put on high speed. ) And most insult was the bathroom smells of urine smell even though i just checked in. All in all, not the 7.8 rating as claimed. Maybe a minus 7.8. Definitely not worth the money you pay and certainly not worth even try to sleep. Even though the kind receptionist (maybe that was the only good thing about this place was the receptionist at least is good) the next day moved me to a different room. Traffic outside the room facing a round about is still noisy, didn’t rage as an aeroplane but a description of constant tractor noise might best described this. Kettle is the same. Has black dots inside the kettle. Not worth trying to make a cup of tea. I gave up……..

Family trip

Service was fine. However room was too hot with only a very small desk fan. If you open the window to cool down the traffic noise was terrible. Chairs in bar were all threadbare and lift should have been condemned!

Toilet did not work. They said they would fix or change rooms. Did not happen and my stay was 3 days. Used bin to flush number 1 but had to go down to lobby to number 2. Someone opened room with key Monday nigbt while I was sleeping. I forgot to dead bolt the door.

My room was like an oven, it was so warm, and no air-conditioning. I presumed there was air-con from the adverts.

Staff was friendly, clean and efficient lobby. Room had dirty walls, peeling wallpaper in the hallways, several spiders/cobwebs, and an odor.
