「Just finished a 2-night stay here, and it was fantastic. I'm a clean freak, and this rental was SUPER clean! My son attends the Naval Academy, and he was able to stay with me for one of the nights. Beds were comfy, and it was nice having a TV in both bedrooms. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had, and it was great having a washer and dryer available to use. I would definitely stay again!」

「Perfect location and lovely place for a weekend getaway!」

「Home is well-loved and clean. Kitchen is updated with dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove. Microwave is available in armoire. Bathroom has washing machine, walk-in shower, great lighting, and comfy towels.Stairway is typical of an older home with slender passage, however sturdy and secure with metal railings.Stayed in the summer, so A/C window units were a welcomed relief. Back yard/porch was serene and quiet.Street parking was easy to find. I thought the Amtrak train would have bothered me...

「The Oaks is in an absolutely perfect location and checks all the boxes a large family needs for a stay. We booked it for our wedding at the AYC for close family and it was far superior to booking 6 hotel rooms where everyone would have been locked in their own rooms. They hung out and spent a great time together on the main level. It was nice to be at a historic home with all the fun quirks. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! 」

「Wonderful place for family and pets. We really enjoyed the house and location. Check-in was very easy as you get a code for the door. They had snacks in the kitchen for our arrival which was a nice touch. House is decorated nicely. The central A/C and window units in the bedroom keep the whole house as cool as you need. Highly recommend!」

「Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Having the private parking spot in the back was a plus. Host communication was friendly and helpful. We moved our granddaughter into her dorm at MICA and it made the move much easier having a home base for our family to rest and recharge. 」

「This was the perfect place for the three of us. While we could easily walk (or ride the bikes!) All over Eastport and downtown, it was really nice to also have a place to park the rental car. I would highly recommend this super cute, well-appointed little cottge. Liz was so communicative, offering us early check in and late check out. Gorgeous decor and beautiful gardens.」
