"Warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucia & her husband, her place is perfectly positioned in the central part of Oppido making it very walkable to all the interesting points in the awesome cultural town, the locals are all so hospitable, it was an extreme pleasure to visit my mum‘s hometown. Lucia’s home is lager than expected, 3 double bedrooms & 2 bath rooms, 6 to 10 people could easily stay here, full kitchen & nice courtyard, nothing more needed in this home."

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "Overall a good option. Clean hotel & friendly staff. The rooms are dated, but kept well. The hotel restaurant is lovely with great service and good food. Breakfast and dinner sampled and it also has a brilliant view out over to sicily to add to your enjoyment. Easy location, just off the seafront. I'd definitely recommend"

"I stayed at the hotel for a week and it was a beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly. The grounds were beautiful. It’s very close to the beach. About 20 minutes and maybe a half hour walking back before it’s all up hill but worth it. There’s a market and a pharmacy just down the road for fresh deli meats and vegetables. The complimentary breakfast buffet was really good. The dinners are fantastic. It’s really inexpensive to eat there. It’s a bit out of the way but that’s fine. I used public transportation to the hotel. They have a shuttle service from where the last bus drops you off. It’s only €25. But going back to the airport from the hotel you are going to need the shuttle service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit southern Italy. Ciao."

"Breakfast was great. Selection of cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and breads. Ideally locsted for the train station and beach. Room 220 was for 4 people, one double bed and 2 singles. Right at the top of the building, in the eaves. 4 very small windows so not much natural light and no view. 1 wardrobe and one chest of drawers. Table with 4 chairs. Room was spotless, cleaned and towels changed daily. However could do with some general maintenance as air con unit was partially broken, grouting in the shower had some mould, and fridge was in poor condition."

"Very clean and new room. Easy check in and friendly/responsive staff. Breakfast was nice and actually goes till 10 am so you don’t have to wake up before dawn to get food lol Staff were great. I mixed up my days and thought we had an extra day there and they were very accommodating and friendly about booking us to keep our room an extra night. Really a great stay. We were joking that we wish we could bring the hotel with us to every stop we have in Sicily."
