"I would highly recommend Pillows Boutique Hotel if you don't need to be in the heart of Chiang Mai, and want a luxury hotel for a budget price. The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good, not a ton of options, but what they had was fantastic. I...
"I had a wonderful stay at Siripanna, the resort offered the perfect blend of tranquillity and comfort. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for unwinding and escaping. The staff were absolutely fantastic, warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Every detail of the experience felt thoughtful and genuine. I’m already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai."
"Unfortunately the place wasn't represented well by the pictures on the site. Different decor and quality of space. We booked this place because of its pool and bathtub and weren't able to use either. The pool was shut down for maintenance from damage of floods we didn't find this out till we checked in if we new before hand we would have booked another place. We wanted to use the bathtub but there was no plug for it and the area around the tub was cracked with mold and unpleasant. The shower is...
"Nice, quiet hotel. May not look brand new and is an old building, not to many channels to watch on TV but it's clean, affordable and comfortable! The staff is amazing, friendly and the hospitality is wonderful! They help set up taxis for you, and you receive a free buffet style breakfast every morning! Will stay here again for sure. "
"The hotel was great and the staff was very accommodating there was just not much in the area. We where about a 13min drive from most things we wanted to do. "
"Used to be a luxury gem, now abandonned and secluded where you will be the only guest in a kind of ghosty atmosphere, however in a unique setting and in a clean and spacious well decorated suite with big balcony. The hotel is right opposite Dara Dhevi which is an experience to see and visit for dining out. The hotel staff are in fact staff at the popular (japan + chinese) restaurant that is run from the same location. You will be left on your own."

Top Chiang Mai Promenada Hotel Reviews
Melia Chiang Mai
10/10 Excellent
"As a family hotel, I enjoyed my stay at Melia Chiang Mai as a couple. We upgraded to a Level suit and found the amenities worth it. The best part was the daily happy hour but you can also have breakfast with much better quality of food than found in the buffet. The location is quite walkable and near the night market and the old city but also a lot of great local restaurants and cafes. The food in the northern Thailand is amazing and you will never run out of options. The pool is amazing and they have great pool service but unfortunately, even though there is a kids pool, it does get over run with children. It would be great if there was an adults only or a Level pool for upgraded guests who prefer a quieter environment. The hotel staff were so warm and friendly, I need to give a shout out to Mos, who really made my visit feel as though I was appreciated at all times. Other highlights of the hotel is they make their own Kombucha that can be purchased at the bar. We did have a small issue with a leak from the air conditioner but the hotel sent a service man up ASAP and the issue never occurred again for the rest of our stay. I would definitely make a return visit next time I travel north in Thailand."
"The hotel greets you with warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk through the door. Staff extremely courteous and responsive. Horizon Lounge was a quiet oasis to relax and enjoy drinks and food. Free parking was an added bonus when it’s common to pay $50 a day or more at many premium hotels."
"Best hotel in Chiang Mai! We come here almost yearly and this is one of our faves! Spring for the club room with the free dinner and drinks - it’s worth the extra!"

"I really enjoyed my stay the staff were excellent. The rooms were nice. The breakfast buffet was really good.
A couple things I didn’t like was you had to pay to use the safe in your room. I also wish they had better dining options. They had a very limited menu in the restaurant. But other than that, my day was very good."
