Resort itself is very nice, next to 'KOK river. The staff however are not always professional. The GM Eric was rude in the begining and didnt care about the inconvenience that the check in staff brought to us, by ordering us either to move out or move to other room on the 2nd day. We bookef 5 nights and the only request we had is gave us a room that we dong need to move and it was agreed. But unfortunately, this waa not the case, we were told by late evening on our 2nd day we have to move to other room! It was such an unpleasant experiences! Though other staff are very froebdly and polite.

Resort, staff, view are nice, even the pool is nice but it would be better if more bigger, and the sunshine chair can be adjusted the angle.
This is a hotel to relax. Being by the river with lovely ponds and garden, a good place to unwind. The downside is a bit out from town, have to get taxi during daytime although hotel provides shuttle (50 Balts) each to the night bazaar in the evening.

Poor service; overpriced
Not so great. Apparently there are 80 rooms and it certainly wasnt full. But upon checking we were put in the furthest rooms on the perimeter next to the road. Very loud at night + in early morning.
Breakfast was mediocre at best (compared to other places we stayed in northern Thailand in similar price range).
Very buggy, many mosquitoes due to ponds throughout the property and the river. While pretty, it was not worth the money.
We scheduled a GrabPlus 3 days in advance to ensure we had 6am transport to the Lao border crossing. I started getting nervous abt lack of driver confirmation from Grab, so talked front desk staff. They said 98% chance we’d get picked up and not to worry!! I asked if they could provide a backup transport option but they said no they couldn’t think of any taxis or other services who would pick us up at that early hour.
At 8pm the night before Grab cancelled our scheduled ride. Fortunately we had done Cooking with Ann the day before — she is a lovely + extremely competent woman. I WhatsApp’d her to see if she knew of any drivers or friends who could help us out early the next morning. 10 minutes later we had a confirmed ride!!
Resort food and laundry services were ridiculously overpriced. $21 for dinner? One laundered t-shirt for 25bht? There’s a lovely self-serve laundromat half a block away from hotel. We washed ALL of our clothes a single LG machine for 40bht.
I don't know of a better accommodation to recommend but i’m sure there is one!

This is our high season and we were running high occupancies during your stay.The car ride to Chiang Khong is roughly a 1.5-hour trip. To pre-book a second car at 06.00 am when you had already pre-reserved a Grab car (an Uber equivalent service) to make the trip would not be fair to the other driver. One would normally choose either one or the other. Yes, a laundry bill for 0.7 (70 cents/25Bht) to wash a t-shirt is more than what you would pay at a self-serve laundromat, but the service is also different, as we would use our staff to have it dried and ironed as well as having it sent to your room. We have many dinner options starting from around 7 but I am not sure what you ate and drank. However, 21 for dinner doesn't sound too unreasonable for a meal. A 'Classic Big Mac Pack' at McDonald's in Memphis would set you back 23.79. It is all a matter of perspectives. The Legend team and I would like to thank you for your feedback.Best regards, Eric

The staff here was extremely nice and actually listened to my question and request in both English and Thai unlike EVERY single other location I stayed at in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Phuket.
