「Nothing was too much trouble, and responses from staff were always genuinely friendly in a manner better than I have seen in years. The rooms weren't perfect (in terms of renovation specifically) but everything is still very well presented.」

It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!」

「Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. 」

「I was staying because of work, but the accommodation was great, the bed was a bit on the hard side but that’s just personal taste, the room was spacious and comfy and there was fresh towels and toiletries provided. Overall my stay was excellent and I would definitely stay again. 」
