“Truly a gem of a place to stay . We had wedding reception to attend at the stag so booked two days . The management and staff were so professional which put them up with five star status. “The staff were really friendly and lovely and the stay was so value for money with breakfast included. The bed was also quite comfy and the room was nice and warm. The decor is a little outdated but that doesn't affect the stay at all. The pub was decent and although we didnt try the food, the menu looked great.”

“This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”

“Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”
