As advertised, this is a very basic, old 4-suite motel lodging right off Highway 7. Each suite has its own entrance and is very small, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Furnishings and TV are extremely dated, but all functional. Perfect for me and my dog.

the place is very cute. but the place is dirt, spider webs in all corners of the rooms and webs on the walls. the bathtub is peeling so you can not bath in it I wouldn't even stand in it. I found a bug in the bed. But didn't have anyone to call because there is not anyone on site. If they would clean it up it could be a very nice place. Very diss appointed from the pictures.

Cozy cottage in the country

Although outside the town of Agassiz, this was a quaint and comfortable place to stay. We made plans and arrived late. We were accommodated accordingly. If you are looking for a comfortable little cottage experience this is your place. The location is quiet, clean and reminds me of staying in a cottage in the country

Ok unique out the way place

Woodside Inn, is a unique 4 room Inn. This a nice out of the way place. I would say the rooms are a bit small, but very nicely decorated and a quiet place to rest. The other rooms were occupied, but you never heard them. First problem: When we arrived there was a price difference, as there were three of us, two adults and one child. When booking and filling out the online forms, which I have done hundreds of times before, I marked two adults and an 8 year old child. We were quoted $369.51 by hotel.com. She charged us $403.41, as she said she charges extra for the Rollaway, which costs an extra $33.90 for three night stay. Since we were tired from our two day drive and tense because of the funeral we were coming for the next day, I paid the difference. Second problem: When checking in she took us to our room. She showed more concern about showing us how the door locks work, as if we were dummies, never telling us we don’t get daily maid service. And to our disappointment next day after getting back from the funeral, we found that housekeeping had not come.The following day after calling Dehlia , She tried to explain with an excuse that she doesn’t offer daily maid service to keep the lower rates and that most people that check in want their privacy. As for the price I could gotten a place in Chilliwack with two queen bed for $89.00 a night with fridge and microwave. Her kitchenette had no microwave. This would be a great place with proper information.

Terrific little get away!

Fabulous! My husband and I wanted to find a place to just go away and relax! It was a very clean old fashioned suite that we enjoyed! The bed was very comfortable. Would be happy to return. Delilah was very welcoming.

Simple, clean.

The Woodside Inn a good place to stay that is low cost for the area. If you book a room with the two twin beds, be mindful that they are quite small for larger men. I am a small woman so it was fine.

Secluded home away from home in the woods

Great value here. We really enjoyed staying here. This served as our home base to have a romantic dinner at River's Edge restaurant at the nearby Pretty golf course, as well as spending a day in Harrison Hot Springs which is only about a 15 km drive away. Except for an out of control neighbour dog, the location was very quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. Would definitely come back again.

NIGHTMARE

Upon booking, the owner emails you to ask that you call an hour before arriving which is definitely a first for me. It looks like a motel out of a horror movie but hey I decide to give it a chance. There is no AC as the agent at Hotels.com told me there would be. That's very important to me because I have dogs in the room. The owner shows me to the room and assured me that it doesn't get hot in there so I give it a chance. To pay for the room, you go to an old abandoned commercial kitchen to run your credit card. I am totally creeped out at this point. When I finally get to my room ALONE I take off the top covers assuming that there will be decent sheets underneath....FAIL. The sheets and furniture are like they came from my grandmother's house that have been used for decades. Yes, they were worn in and just horrible. I couldnt' even sit on the bed or the chairs that were equally worn down and that 70's green colour. The key didn't even work too well for the door. On the bright side, the flooring looked new and recently redone. By 3pm I gave up on giving the place and chance and packed my belongings and dogs back up and left. There was nobody on the property or in the office so the next best thing was to call Hotels.com to tell them my horror story. Hopefully they can get a refund from the hotel for me. Word of advice, NEVER pay for a hotel at check in like this place made me do because if you run in to problems you may not get your money back.

Had an awesome vacation...short drive from harrison hotsprings or the golfcourse...would definitely recomend this motel!!!
