Let me start by saying I am an American bougie hotel person. I stayed at the palo verde and loved it, however, they didn’t have an extra night for me to stay so I found this place. I hated it. The pool was dirty, the room smelled like mold. It’s like staying in a trailer on the beach. Their beach was rocky and wasn’t nice like the palo verde area.

The manager, Jorge, was particularly helpful and always friendly and cheerful. He went out of his way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The grounds of the hotel are uniquely attractive, there being many pathways and multiple pools and at night attractive lighting. And then the beach is right there along with classic Palm trees making an overall alluring setting.

The property is very nice aa well as the location but they do not care about their guests. We never received housekeeping service during our entire stay. I asked the lobby directly to service my room and when I got back nothing was done. One of the shower doors was broken. There was this horrible sewage odor coming from the bathroom sink. The door to the room was extremely difficult to close and lock. As a woman traveling alone security is very important. The bed is so firm it is like sleeping on cement. When you check in they give you a phone to call the lobby, security, and restaurant. They told me if you need are out late you can call security to open the gate for you. We called them 4 times and no answer we were waiting for them for 20 minutes until they decide to open the gate for us. The restaurant on property had horrible service, they did not care to help me or make me feel comfortable. They were very short and rude anytime they would come to our table. For the price I payed I would never stay here again!!

For the price it’s not a bad place to stay. I would just say from my experience I think rooms could be cleaner, and bathroom, and have a better scent once walking in to the room because it’s smelled a bit humid, also breakfast is included but they don’t specify what type Of breakfast is free and what you have to pay for? Unless you ask so definitely need to communicate better with that. I asked for towels and they did not bring to my room. Other than that staff is friendly , nice view of the ocean , pool with ocean view was my favorite!
