Stayed at this hotel before. In a convenient location with parking in front. Easy walk to all the shops bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are a bit dated and tired, but great for a quick stop over.

With its generous and extraordinarily pleasant hosts, this property would be one of the best in the area only if the rooms were stripped of their poor-man’s transition to modernity, restored to their past glory, and equipped with an electric kettle!!

Good location right in the heart of Chinon. Parking close by and within easy walking distance of shops bars and restaurants. Close to the river and easy to find. The rooms are dated and in need of some tlc. Be careful with the showers as when our shower door was opened you couldn't get to the cold tap so burnt myself trying to get the right temperature.

Not a good hotel overall

Nice front desk person. Room very clean but extra small. Not even the room to Open one bag on the floor. No internet working in the bedroom. Impossible to get water at the right temperature in the shower, mixer does not work, you have to choose burning or cold! Also no insulation, we heard the neighbor toilet and dog barking on same floor. I do not believe this deserves 3 stars. On the positive side, great location

Buen hotel

El hotel está muy bien, la mujer de recepción fue muy agradable. Habitación no muy grande pero tampoco es pequeña, limpia. Creo que le falta una pequeña nevera, pero por todo lo demás está muy bien.

C'est honteux, toutes les rues avoisinantes et la Place elle même sont impossibles ... tout est interdit de passage par des grilles et des panneaux de sens interdit. C'est la fête de la musique. Nous avons 82 et 83 ans et il faudrait abandonner notre voiture dans un environnement douteux à cause de la populace rameutée par le bruit. Puis à notre âge , emmener à pieds, nos bagages sur au moins 500 m pour ne pas dormir de la nuit en raison du vacarme promis! Est-il normal qu'on nous vante une chambre climatisée et un parking de proximité quand on sait au moment de la réservation que les conditions seront des plus inconfortables. J'ai vu après coup, que la climatisation était contestée par des clients sur les commentaires que je n'avais pas lus avant de réserver et de payer cette chambre ... c'était une réservation faite la veille au soir ! Le coût de cette soirée si forminable avoisine 100 euros ... c'est cher pour abandonner la nuitée et finir écœurés par reprendre la route et rentrer dans notre maison à plus de 200 km L'environnement de cette soirée était bien sur connu du loueur. C'est honteux !

Absence d'ascenseur! Ceci ne me semble pas être indiqué dans le descriptif de votre site. (merci à la personne de l'accueil qui a monté la valise de ma femme). Chambre petite, douche très difficilement réglable en température (deux robinets)! A priori un hôtel dont les "3*" datent !

Séjour d'une nuit

Nous y sommes allés pour une nuit. C'est bien pour une nuit. La salle de bain est peu petite notamment la douche. L'hôtel est bien localisé si on veut être dans le centre. Merci de nous avoir donnée une chambre avec une vue sur l'église.

Le personnel de l’établissement est très accueillant et chaleureux. L’établissement est situé juste à côté du château de Villandry et de la voie vélo donc très pratique et facile d’accès. Le point un peu plus négatif concerne l’état général et la vétusté de certains éléments de la chambre. ( peinture Volets, jointes de la baignoire, tapisserie.. )

A éviter pour le moment

En entrant la chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée, les draps étaient utilisés et froissés en tas sur le lit et les serviettes en tas à terre. Le personnel est gentil mais dépassé. On nous a paraît-il surclassés dans un logement sans eau chaude. Les escaliers sont dangereux pour le transport des bagages. Il y a un chantier en cours pour réunir deux hôtels... Il y aurait du potentiel mais à éviter tant que la réorganisation et les travaux ne sont pas terminés.

La personne a l’accueil m’a soutenu que je n’avais pas pris le petit déjeuner dans alors que si je l’avais bien pris lors de la réservation sur hôtel.com J’ai dû payer un petit déjeuner supplémentaire !!!! Réservation une chambre supérieur et j’ai eu une chambre standard bref !!!
