“Väldigt mysigt hotell med boutiquekänsla. Trevlig personal och en toppenfin frukost. Minus för att alla rum inte har AC, vi var där under senaste värmeböljan. ”

“After seeing mixed reviews I had been concerned but for the price we paid this place is amazing. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4. It had everything we needed (except a fan) Like everyone else who stayed whilst the weather was around 35 degrees, we struggled with the heat and no air con, had to sleep with the bedroom door open (we had a ground floor apartment but it felt safe). “Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. ”

“Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. We will definitely be back.”

“Jardin Haute Couture is very special. Coco is a wonderful host, and my husband and felt like guests in a beautiful country home. The decor is eclectic and fanciful, the bed was comfy, and the views are so pretty. The food is delicious. I hesitate to say too much for fear there won’t be a place for me!! ”

“Sehr schön renovierte Zimmer und ein freundliches, engagiertes Besitzerpaar. Absolut zu empfehlen-wir waren vier Nächte da. Gut geeignet um Saumur und Umgebung zu erkunden. Liegt an einem Rond Point, Dr aber nicht stark frequentiert ist. ”
