White Lilies is a house located in the Lefkathia area of northwestern Chios, and it took its name from the white lilies that once grew all along the beach in previous decades, creating a truly unique sight. It is situated just 30 meters from the sea and is ideal for families who want to enjoy their holidays in a place that combines the tranquility of the Chios countryside with the beauty of the coast.
From the house, you can swim at Lefkathia Beach, just 30 meters away, or visit the long sandy beach of Managros, located 1 km away. There are both organized and non-organized beaches to suit every taste.
In the area, you can explore the picturesque traditional village of Volissos and its castle, which dates back to the 11th century, as well as the monastery of the island’s local Saint, Agia Markella. You can also visit the prehistoric cave of Agio Galas, one of the rarest of its kind in Greece. Northwestern Chios also offers a network of hiking trails with stunning views of the region’s still-untouched nature.
Because I wanted to offer something special, your stay at White Lilies includes a tasting experience of local gourmet products made from some of the finest ingredients Chios produces. Chios gastronomy is truly unique due to the island’s microclimate, which gives its herbs exceptional aroma and its products distinctive flavors. You will be able to try, free of charge, Chios ouzo, liqueurs, mastiha products, and other unique tastes that will bring you closer to the island and help you get to know it better.
During the summer months, there will be an organic vegetable garden where you can pick fresh vegetables to make your salads or add to your meals.
I believe that your stay at White Lilies will be a unique and memorable experience truly worth living.
