「This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!」

「Nola was a wonderful host. The cottage is smaller than I expected but comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated and has very comfortable beds. It was also conveniently located for walks to downtown for shopping and to partake in some award-winning ice cream. We enjoyed our stay very much.」
