“Loved my stay here. Very nicely run lodge— a great choice in the area that provides an upscale experience for a very reasonable amount. The staff were all lovely, the owner ever-present, making sure you’re having a great stay. But the stand-outs were the safari guides, who were so friendly and knowledgeable and worked very hard to ensure a great experience in the park. Saw tons of animals—so many rhinos!—but sadly no tigers, though the guides were super committed to trying to spot.”

“Perfect location in chitwan for accessing the national park and river. 10minute walk to the shops and restaurants although we ate at the lodge a few times as this was ideal. “We stayed here for about 3 days here before and after trekking at Annapurna. The staff is amazing. Firstly, the manager, Ramesh, he helped us to make a trek plan. He organized all things with reasonable prices include guide or porter, trekking permit. Tims, accommodation etc. Also, he helped us to hire a car with driver for half-day to tour round surrounding area. As such, we could tour Pokhara in a short time. The rooms were very clean with great attention to detail. All staff was very friendly……

“Comfortable room after asking to change when saw room offered on arrival. Rooms donor look as good as photos. Only real minus was the level of noise from 6 am as guests getting ready for early safaris banged doors and talked loudly in corridors outside of rooms.”

“We had quite a bad experience staying three nights at the Jungle Villa Resort. At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful. A large number of bad experiences with management was part of ruining the trip for us; incompetent and untrustworthy, lacking understanding of their guests. Furthermore, the resort felt like a prison, thus enabling the place to sell mediocre……
