“All staff, whether reception, waitress, housekeeper or security, are very friendly and helpful. very very nice. Although it’s not located in prime area, it still a great hotel for me. There are some shop, local market and beach nearby. Just ask the receptionist, she is very helpful. In addition, the hotel chief cooks very well.

“Overall we’re pretty satisfied with our stay, room is clean and spacious, thanks for the upgrade btw 🙏. We had dinner in the ISLA restaurant, food is amazing!! Swimming pool is not crowd, very kids friendly, and it’s so close to the beach which is another reason we want to stay here.

“The room was clean, had air conditioning, a large screen and glass door, refrigerator with cold water in it. It was well designed with features located in optimal locations. The attention to design extended to the grounds which had water features, including ponds and small swimming pool. It was located a block from the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. “The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing. We spent a morning in the pool and the beach. The location of the hotel is very good. It is located next to the Bang Tao Beach and also close to the nearby Canal Village Shopping Centre. You could take free shuttle boat rides in the lake area there. It would only take 10 minutes to get to another shopping centre by taxi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were confirmed to have a late checkout at 15:00 upon our request during our checking.”

“Very high value for the money considering I payed about 70USD/ night for a 5-star hotel.
Rooms are modern and have everything you would expect at a 5 star hotel.
Food was good in general and the breakfast buffet in particular was very good with a a lot of variety from day to day.
Walking distance to the beach and also several free shuttle busses every day, both to the beach and an area with lots a shops and restaurants (the also have a popular night market there every Friday)

“We had such a great experience at this lovely new hotel in Bangtao! The location is super convenient, just minutes from Boat Avenue and Bangtao Beach. They even offer a free shuttle every hour to both spots, which made getting around really easy.

I noticed that Aroma is a pretty new hotel, so here are some suggestions for your improvement according to my personal experience:
1. The air conditioning is not responsive, room is so humid and hot when we checked in, after calling the front desk, the lady said it takes 10 mins for it to work. Well, I’m not sure it’s the settings of the Mitsubishi air-con, if so, would be nice if you can have your staff to switch on the air-con before your guest check-in the room.
2. The “Make up room” and “DND” buttons are very confusing, it’s hard to distinguish it’s on / off, you don’t expect your guests have to learn and guess is it on or not, I’d rather prefer the traditional way to put the sign on the handle instead, 100% of people should know what to do. After not having someone to clean up for 2 days, I have to call front desk again and I was being questioned did I turn the make up room light on, well, it makes me feel like I’m being blamed, not good service at all…
3. Have your engineer to check the TV remote battery regularly, it’s not really a good experience I have to call the 3rd time to the front desk to ask for battery replacement, and I have to call again after no one show up in 10 mins…"

"門鎖不能正常使用，和酒店前台溝通三次之後，酒店前台服務員才跟隨我 們去到房間，職員鎖匙咭能夠開啟門口，顧客鎖匙不能夠使用。導致我們花費了1小時才入到房間。 並且不能夠即時安排更換房間，也不能夠即時維修，第二日方才維修。"
