「Property has potential but not run very well. Booked a stay overnight, drove 30 miles out of my way because I wanted a room with a view on a lake, but when I got there, no room. THERE IS NO ONE ON THE PROPERTY TO EVEN DEAL WITH. If you want total incompetence, book a room here. Otherwise steer clear. Expedia made it right with a credit plus, but not worth the time and travel it cost me to find out there was no room available after I got there.」

「Don’t stay here!! Dark dingy room. Not well stocked and dirty. They took a $50 deposit from us that was to be refundable and never refunded us. We contacted VRBO they tried contacting the owners three times and could not get a response from them. We tried to contact the owners and never got a response. On a positive note the grounds were nice. 」

「The tour of the Duff mansion was exquisite & so were the accommodations!! Authentic furniture & furnishings of the 1800s. The gal tour guide went way beyond in details & historic retelling of stories; & our welcome was very warm with a wine mtg at the mansion. The breakfast was fancy & super good. We met wonderful guests from all over- even Europe. It was a very special experience to go back in time & relive the Civil War era. All the extras the owner provides is extraordinary!! This is a must...

「Pleasantly surprised! This rental is a single room but is very neat and clean. Comfortable beds. Great view of Eagle Lake. Easy access to private boat ramp and plenty of outside seating to enjoy the view. Close to a great country store for snacks and quick take out options.」

「This apartment was very clean and newly renovated with all the amenities. Loved the historic aspects of the building. The library for guests was very welcoming. Nice outdoor space including a wrap-around balcony on the front of the building overlooking downtown. Great location with all of downtown in a walkable distance. Several close restaurants and shops. Easy on-site parking.」

「Checked in late and the process took under two minutes. Fresh towels plus kitchen area gave us freedom to make simple meals rather than eating out constantly, which we liked as a couple traveling light together.」
