“Convenient with good location to the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park. Best to eat at restaurants on the other side of the bridge, we found the one that was close by offers substandard food at exorbitant prices.”

“Property was new and well maintained. Laundry facilities were excellent. Only criticism is that it was difficult to find the address on Didi as the name and address on Expedia are different to those on Didi (the local taxi service).”

“The location is very convenient”

“The room was clean and the location was great particularly for food and getting to the east gate. Hotel seems dated and is loaded with tour busses. So much so, it was difficult to get from one building to another. Go early for breakfast because it seemed picked over the morning we went a little later. Was a little loud earlier in the evening but it did quiet down and we had a good sleep. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was beautiful and wonderfully maintained. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and help with our travel plans. Sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. 10 stars!!!!”

“The room was well appointed and had a scenic view of the mountains. The shower had hot water and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with all kinds of services available. The breakfast was tasty with a wide assortment of options. Good coffee machine with espresso. The area is quiet and secluded - I saw some beautiful birds in the nearby trees. I also tried food from their restaurant and it was cooked well.”

“The views from the pool and windows are stunning. It sits up on the hillside, so it is quiet and rural, and there are not many dining options nearby.”

“The bed was so soft, and the room was clean — not fancy at all, but super comfortable. They even have an iron, washing machine, dryer, and a small gym. Right after I booked, Jay reached out, added me on WhatsApp, sent me maps, made a whole itinerary, and booked all my tickets. Everything went super smoothly. I ran into some other travelers along the way, and the next day they couldn’t get into the parks because they didn’t book in advance — made me so glad I had Jay’s help. The rooftop terrace……

“Stunning Grand Hotel quality for a fraction of 5Star price. Just NOT to look for it on DiDi by name, only by address: Avatar Valley Grand Hotel is actually “ Zhangjiajie Country Garden Phoenix Hotel” We had luck with a friendly DiDi driver that helped us and called their local number to verify location. Breakfast buffet room looks like an Opera House. Swimming Pools are huge. Not crowded at all for the 1400 rooms available. Late August, maybe seeemed maybe 10% occupied. Amazingly helpful Staff……

“早餐提供多樣選擇，住宿地點方便，周邊商店及餐廳多樣選擇”
