This unit has a great downtown location if you're looking to be in the heart of the action—but be aware that weekend noise is intense, with partying well into the night. Light sleepers, bring earplugs.The condition of the unit leaves a lot to be desired. The main door has a visible gap at the top, which not only lets in outdoor light but raises security and comfort concerns. We also spotted two roaches during our stay, which unfortunately suggests there could be more.There’s a real lack of functionality: no iron or ironing board, only one wall hook in the entire unit, and no place to hang towels or clothes. The floors were swept but not clean, and both the tile in the shower and floors throughout including subflooring are uneven, giving the space a poorly maintained feel. In the shower, the control is placed directly under the water stream, so turning it on means getting hit with cold water—definitely not ideal.Overall, the unit feels poorly appointed and unfinished, which was disappointing given the listing and location. With some basic upgrades and attention to detail, this place could be much better. But as it stands, I wouldn't book it again or recommend it without significant improvements.
