"This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

"Room was a little dark and tucked away in a corner with not much of a view but everything was nice. Would also be nice if they installed a bar in the shower/tub for the older crowd. Was very slippery and nothing to hang on to. "

"The location was about 800m from the main eating drinking and entertainment area along thecriver bank. Close to the funicular railway and the river boats. Hotel breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The bar served a selection of sandwiches and pizzas and the barman was very accommodating when we wanted to watch a particular football match. Thank you for a super stay."

"Room was comfortable. The only issue was one couldn't control the temperature, even though there was a thermostat. Staff did their best to work in English. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. Parking was available, but a very steep and narrow access. Car front scraped on entry. Access to Metro was only 100 meters away, although very challenged to understand buying a card and what was available. "

"It was a very clean and great hotel and yhe staff helped us of we jad anuthing. The morning breakfast was highly overpriced for what you got so we were glad we did npt add thatbpackage and we wished the redtauarnt and loinge had a few more options on it but other than that ot was very good place to stay. We loved how close it was to the metro station for convenience."

"The room I stayed for 2 weeks found very sizable and clean. All the counter staff I talked to during my stay were very friendly and helpful. They’re knowledgeable about the neighboring towns near Porto. Ms Lobo, one of the staff, provided me with many useful information for all my day trips for Coimbra, Braga, Guimarães, Aveiro…ABC Hotel is not far from the train/metro/bus station. I’m glad I picked ABC Hotel when I traveled to Porto, Portugal. "
