"It was not clear at all that this is self-service check in. That's not such a problem in itself, but when combined with the price and the shabby location, it does not add up. Great view from the window, cavernous room (almost too big), a small double bed, shower head was faulty, no email sent to explain how to check in (until 1 hour after my arrival). Disappointing to pay so much for such a basic place, and with no reception desk for when there's a problem."

"There was air conditioning. Breakfast was ok but could have been more varied. Unfortunately a particular male staff was very rude at breakfast. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning service was unfortunately very poor for a 4* hotel and a lot of the staff could not speak English. The hotel also had asylum seekers living there too. So communal areas were shared with them (apart from the breakfast hall) If you are looking for a 4* experience I would not recommend staying here....
