「They are so sweet and caring at the guest house, it feels like you are visiting someone’s home. They offer a nice breakfast and the area is safe and the guest house is gated. I can really recommend this place for anyone visiting Cape Town and wants to stay close to the city. 」

We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too. There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue. We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town.」

The staff are exceptional and extremely helpful - especially Joy who always greeted us in the morning with a huge smile. There is a great choice on offer for breakfast and the food is really good. 「Basically staying in SA safety is a concern, i had a very bad experience in my last visit of SA in the other hotel. City lodge is quite good about this, the employee is good. One complaint is the view, i didn't get the mountain view this time.」
