The game room was a lot of fun—the ping pong table was a big hit for us adults; however, the foosball table would probably be more enjoyable for kids, as it is on the smaller side. 「The home was clean and lovely. Right on the Shenandoah River! Unfortunately most of our time was spent either working (The wifi was most excellent!) or traveling between families homes, so we did not have a lot of time to just enjoy the house. I was able to get on the river a few times, and the kayaks provided were in good condition. We loved it so much we’re coming back in the spring!」

「This trip was for my wife and my 2nd anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The main room was very spacious, yet extremely cozy due to the wood burning fireplace. The home was well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The views of the lake and the wildlife were just icing on the cake. 」

Great games, fire pit and areas to be together and relax. And the VIEWS!! We visited both Shenandoah NP and Shenandoah River SP multiple times. 「Everything stood out! This place was perfect for our early family Thanksgiving - we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so warm and inviting. Also, we were lucky enough to meet Brian upon our arrival and he was so welcoming that it was easy to see why his house felt like home for us. We had everything we needed and honestly couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Rappahannock County area of Virginia, I highly recommend that you choose this one....
