The cabin was absolutely perfect for a relaxing time away! After hiking all day, we came back to the cabin and played all the games - chess, ping pong, pool, air hockey, and foosball. It was wonderful and we hope to return!

Great stay

We loved our weekend getaway staying here. It was a short drive to Helen, Anna Ruby Falls and Cabbage Patch Babyland. The cabin is perfect for a group of Friends or family. Clean, well decorated and equipped with everything you need.

Convenient Seclusion

This beautiful cabin in the woods was so comfortable and welcoming. What made it over-the-top amazing was how convenient it was to many, many hiking trails, state parks, wineries and amazing restaurants. We did it all and came home to this beauty each night. Loved it!

Great cabin!

This cabin is beautiful and clean in a quiet area. My family of 4 had plenty of room & the game room was a hit! Definitely recommend this place. We will be back in the future.

Perfect cabin!

This is one of the best cabins we have stayed in in a while. It made us wish we were staying longer. Very clean and had everything we need. The basement was an added bonus and we had a great time playing the games.

The house was very beautiful and comfortable. The subdivision was very peaceful. We had everything we needed and was given subdivision driving instructions the day before we arrived. However, it would have been nice if we were told a 4-wheel drive automobile is recommended.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was more beautiful than the pictures online. Very clean and quiet. Beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the quaint towns of Helen and Dahlongea nearby. Hiked up to Anna Ruby Falls. Beautiful place to enjoy the fall season. The host was quick to reply and very accommodating.

Beautiful Cabin

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice. In person it is breathtaking. The way the sun shines and lights the cabin in the day is just heavenly. Then Megan is the nicest host we’ve had. She responds to messages quickly she is very welcoming and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place if you need a break from everyone and everything.

Peaceful getaway

Everything was great! I would definitely stay here again. Bring extra dishwasher pods if you think you’ll have a lot of dishes. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated! It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This cabin looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean and spacious. An easy drive into town. Neighbors were friendly! It was the perfect getaway. We hope to be back!

Beautiful cabin in a perfect location

My wife and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful. It was super clean, and the location was perfect! We had a wonderful time relaxing and really enjoyed the trip. And the location was great, just a short drive between three nice cities in the area. And we're a Jeep off-road family, so driving the mildly rugged gravel road up to the cabin was always a treat for us. I would certainly recommend this cabin for anyone and we're already planning a future trip, returning to this cabin.

Romantic getaway

Absolutely beautiful cabin nestled in a premier private lot in the woods. The cabin is at elevation with beautiful views of sunsets and rolling Hills yet you’re just 12 to 15 minutes away from Helen Georgia. I couldn’t have been happier with the location, privacy, cleanliness, and all around vibe of the cabin. I’d highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back when everything is green.

Perfect!

Beautiful cabin! Had everything we needed. It was spacious and we all enjoyed the game room. Close to Helen and all the attractions. One thing to note - the cabin is not on a paved road and it can be a little tricky to go up the hill and into the driveway if you’re not accustomed to driving in the mountains. Overall, we had a great stay!

Mountain Laurel Lodge was LOVELY

Beautiful cabin. Very nicely decorated and maintained. Lots of books and games to enjoy. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The patio was very relaxing. Close to Helen and many beautiful parks. Would love to stay again. The home is a little challenging accessing through the unpaved road, especially the driveway to the home. Would not recommend with a smaller vehicle or low rider.

Good family cabin

I was very pleased with the communication and service of the owners. They were very accommodating. The location of the cabin in not so near local restaurants as you are lead to believe in the property description. I wouldn't say anything is within walking distance. Nice cabin though and very clean. Very good value for what you get. I would stay again when visiting the area.

Beautiful!

What a spot. This cabin and it's location is absolutely beautiful. We were staying here the day after Helene went through. As you can imagine we we were concerned. The communication with Megan was excellent and prompt and fortunately this local area was spared. She was awesome. If you want a beautiful place in a perfect setting this is the one. Everything you need here. It is as described. Hope to get back here one day.

Perfect Fall Break Family Getaway

Our kids had Fall Break and we had been hearing about Helen, GA for years so thought we'd take a trip from Savannah and experience the mountains. We LOVED it. This was the perfect home for our family to enjoy while we explored the area. We did some hiking, checked out Anna Ruby Falls (beautiful waterfalls and easy to get to), walked around Helen and enjoyed the quaint Sautee Market nearby. The home was the perfect resting spot after busy days where we enjoyed the firepit and the game room. The home was very clean, spacious, had just what we needed for cooking, comfy beds and all-around perfect. Megan was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend this rental. Thanks for the memories!!

Tranquility!

We were happily amazed at this beautiful, peaceful cabin in the woods. It is absolutely immaculate, smells great and is cozy as can be. I would love to go back and see the leaves changing colors. After a last bad experience with vrbo, we were a little worried. No roaches or bugs in this house! AND everything you want to do or places you want to eat is close by and handy. It's roomy and comfy. The only thing I missed was not having any darts for the dart board! Definitely recommend this gem of a LARGE cabin!!!! Well equipped if u want to cook, I DIDN'T want to cook, we ate out everywhere! Very happy with our entire stay there and the area.

Great Mountain Getaway

This was a great little cabin up a winding road that turned into a gravel one-lane cow path. If you have a large family and a small sedan, I'm not sure you could get up the driveway with a 2-wheel drive. We had a minivan in December and had to make a run at it. May want to bring the 4-wheel drive if you have one or the weather is not great. The location was equal distance between the little town of Clarksville (very cute) and Helen. The cabin was awesome. Very clean. Beautiful. We had a family of 4 (two parents and two kids), and we had exactly 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 4 wash clothes provided. I didn't see an extra set of sheets for any of the beds, so if you have younger kids that may have accidents, you may want to bring additional linens.
