It felt personal and friendly, not just a random place. The owner is wonderful, right there for anything you may need. Make sure you go to The Dugout! I highly recommend this lodge and I look forward to returning.

Amazing experience, cabin was spotless, well takem care of and included many thoughtful details. 9 minute drive to Helen. Beautiful backyard, quiet and green. We enjoyed so much.

Cabin was in excellent condition. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Away from the bustle of Helen but only a 10 minute drive away. Great location to many attractions. Host very responsive and helpful.

Everything was perfect! The location was perfect, not too far from things to do by yet far enough that we were away from the bustle in Helen GA. The owner made sure we were comfortable and happy when we arrived with a text message. The next morning when we were leaving for the day, she introduced herself to make sure we had everything we needed. I was surprised how nice the room was, the pictures didn't do it justice. It was large, and with an area for the bed, dining room and living room and Kitchenet. The restaurant, The Dugout Sports Bar, is next to the lodge which was a bonus. The food, staff and location were perfect. Again, the southern hospitality was endearing and welcoming. We felt at home and slept like babies. Glad we picked Nacoochee Valley Lodge for our trip.

Location was ideal for both Helen and Cleveland. Loved the cleanliness and personal touches th the updated rooms. Back deck and yard was enjoyed immensely. Can't wait to return.

Such a wonderful experience! They have everything you need and are extremely accommodating. The restaurant is right next door and has amazing food. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Very nice place to stay! Near Helen but away from busy downtown : ) The Dugout restaurant has great food and great service, recommend the Dugout to all! Noticed a lot of local folks picking up takeout - a good sign for good food!

Very surprised at the property! It is an old Motel that they have revamped and it is cozy cabins in each suite! We had Big Whiskey with a large king size poster bed, large bathroom, seating area, Kitchenette with coffeemaker and coffee aupplied. Very nice place and will return. Clean towels, loads of parking, quiet location and a back deck! Ot jas a restaurant called the Dugout at the top of parking lot that has great food and you get a discount. Consider this as it is just 6 miles outside of Helen .

This property was sweet and conveniently located to all of North Georgia state parks and sights! The owners were hospitable and quickly responded to our (very few, because almost everything was thought of) requests. It’s a one story-motel, but each room looks like a cabin with light-colored wood paneling. So many things were provided. The property was quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable. And, we were able to get to so many parks, waterfalls, and other destinations easily. It was nice to have a sofa and back porch to relax in. Most definitely recommend to everyone!

it was very cute and looked like a cabin, but the issues that I had was, there was no blind on the front door for privacy. Something bit me all night. I’m not sure if it was fleas or what. To the eye everything looked very clean, but it smelled like dog urine. I tried to use the iron, but when I press the steam button white powder, looking particles fell out onto my clothes. I think it was dried built up starch but not sure. The white sheets had a stain on them which made me want to leave.

Loved our stay. Property was very nice,room was cozy and relaxing. If i had to say what I didn't like,it was where the TV was located on the wall and that was it. Staff was very nice and willing to help out. If we head back out that way, we will come back to the property.
