"The property is old, but well-Maintained. The batteries did not work in the remote and when I turned on the tv manually, I could not get a signal. The very very loud fire alarms went off at 12:40AM. A restful sleep was not had. The breakfast was good. "

"I'm not from Charleston and let's just say I'm at a different quality inn in Charleston and it's a hell of a lot better than the quality inn that is located at Charleston South!!! And let's also mention that I had to re clean some of the areas and the hotel"

"Beautiful hotel! No fragrances, which was important for my husband who has chemical sensitivity. The room was huge, clean and looked new. Staff was very friendly, and the parking was free. My only complaint was that the couch was across from the TV instead of the bed, so we had to crane our neck when we were in bed, trying to watch it."

" We absolutely loved this place!! It was the perfect mix of Grandma cottage and modern. Which is a favorite of mine!! The kids loved the different tea k cups available. It was easily accessible and, located near multiple restaurants and shopping centers, bathrooms were fully stocked with extras. Thank you for making the wrestling weekend much easier for my family. "

"Parking is not free at this hotel. We walked in and asked the man behind the counter because we saw signs all over the parking lot about using your phone to pay for parking and he was very rude about telling me I “absolutely HAD to pay for parking”. He didn’t know why the site said that we did not have to pay because you ALWAYS have to pay to park your vehicle at THIS hotel. Other than the front desk clerk, the hotel was enjoyable. Clean room, nice beds & clean pool. "
